• PREPARES is a parish-based initiative of the Catholic Bishops of Washington State that provides unconditional support to pregnant women, fathers, and families.

  The program offers a "walk the journey" approach, pairing families with trained volunteers who provide mentorship, emotional support, and essential items like diapers and clothing from pregnancy until the child’s fifth birthday. It is open to people of all faiths and backgrounds, aiming to ensure that no mother or child is left alone or abandoned during these critical early years.
